I'd go straight for the connection on the back of the ignition switch. There is a black plug section with copper contacts similar to relay connections. These corrode and blacken with carbon. We had one at the garage that start only in the morning and when it dried out it wouldn't start and all...

It'll depend on their mark up scale and the hub they are supplying. I've bought blueprint hub assemblies and had one fail after 3yr...ill rebuild this one myself 😕

Unfortunately the autel 808 only sees it as an x5... I'm not sure if gap iid is the best for this year model. The later l322s are recognized by the mx808, 2006 onwards.
