Cheers lad, I'm looking at an skf replacement. The blueprint unit I bought littery did around 30k and compared to the lr originals that did over 200k the blueprint units are a little disappointing 😩

You could use some light grease in a spray can and straw attachment. Saves pulling the unit out and risk cracking the little plastic aged fixings 👌

Drop the oil pan on the box and examine any debris carefully. Any sign of metal flakes and it could be the torque converter, it'll may well have poisoned the gearbox as well.. 😵 If the gearbox oil is as black as hell and not see through it could be too late 😵‍💫

I was think the pump and input shaft as well. The shafts are different lengths. I did consider swapping the internals instead and keeping everything the same length but I'm not sure if the first clutch pack is tailored to the longer input shaft. Once I've removed the box from my scrapper I'll...

The first rule of thumb is don't bugger around with the Nanocom before reading up on it!!😜 The speed limit warning is changed using the bottom button on the the indicator stalk. Check the oil level in the gearbox as a precaution, especially after you said it had been sitting for a few years. 👍
