Managed to find a Garrett turbocharger along with a 300tdi discovery exhaust manifold today at a reasonable price, quite pleased with that. In other news, the 200tdi is now fitted in the engine bay and hooked up to the LT77 having replaced the flywheel cover and such. After that, pulled the head...

So here she is! as it turns out she's only missing a turbo, but i will be replacing the manifolds for 300TDI disco ones. As soon as i got home, i worked on getting the old 2.5 n/a lump out, and i managed to remove it in a matter of hours.

Well as it turns out this engine does have inlet and exhaust manifolds but is missing a turbocharger. I think what I should do is fit a 300tdi exhaust manifold and turbo instead of trying to source a replacement defender 200tdi manifold. Don't suppose anyone has a discovery manifold and...

I know what I'm getting in to with this one, it has a blown head gasket. He wanted an extra 80 euros for a starter so didn't take his offer

I will have a 300tdi inlet exhaust manifolds and a turbo, i'll buy some new oil feed hoses and i'm sure i'll be able to do something for a downpipe. Thanks!

So a few of you may be aware i'm converting my n/a to a tdi soon. I was planning on fitting a 300tdi until i managed to find a 200tdi for quite cheap just today, i'm going to get it tomorrow! Only thing is it does not have a turbo or exhaust manifold. Don't suppose anyone has one lying around...

Still needs a bit of a tweak to the injection pump but other than that, it runs really well! :)

Pictures never really do bores justice, cylinder 3 did have some light score marks but nothing to be concerned about, all the other bores were absolutely perfect. Thanks for looking out but i really don't think it will be an issue :)
