Swap for 90 V8 or any 110 of similar value. 1991 200tdi, 75 k, long mot, great chassis never welded, bulk head excellent, good panels and very straight for its age. Engine is superb, recent brakes and exhaust . Now has gloss black roof and wheel arches. What's anyone got?

I'll be honest I dont reckon it will last. But if it doesn't ill try something else. The rear quarters look pretty rough but look better in the flesh.

Afternoon, I've a 1991 200 tdi defender and just fitted a straight through middle exhaust section. Now I want to do away with the rear silencer. I bought a 300tdi rear piece as I read it would fit straight on but it doesn't. Different fitment and needs cutting etc to fit Is there anybody who...

Thanks for the responses I do use a pedal lock and removable steering wheel where ever I go and do have ground anchors at home. I see these as ways of slowing down the thieves but certainly better than nothing.

I put rx8 seats in my tdi easy fit and very reasonably priced. There are threads on here about them.

Any pumas I've looked at regardless of the mileage the seats don't look to last as well as the td5 ones.

Would not go again. Only 40 mins up the road for me but would rather stay home and cut the lawns!!! In particular the auto jumble was terrible.

Cheers, I think that's the safest but first thing I do every morning is check it's still there. But i have thought that leaving it out of sight would stop the opportunists who spot it when driving by. But gives them the cover to work in if they do find it. The joys !!
