all nuts /bolts are tight door when shut is tight got no door cards so ican see the workings and like i said a small "L" shaped bar had came off but i put it back in the correct hole still nothing happening .From the inside door opens no bother hope that helps will have another look today when...

its not central locking and it opened ok this morningwith key and hasnt been driven today a small bar had come out of a hole but even when replaced it made no difference hope that helps a bit mate

hi once again just put dash back together after replacing jet wash and now passenger door wont open from outside any ideas lads?

took top dash off and replaced jet wash [fan shaped twinhole] and eureaka!i have water hitting windscreen with force .sorry if i annoyed anyone with my petty request but im not mechanically minded and nowive managed this i could maybe do an engine change:D NOT!thanks again for being sort of patient

yeh i have done that so its a new jet wash before i write some one off whilst driving with a salt baked windscreen!why oh why is it not a straight forward clip off here clipoff there job ?or is this what comes with a defender:mad:

you got me wrong there mate i stated that water does flow freely from bottle to jet it just doesnt hit the windscreen as i think the holes have been tampered with to much .i was also wondering if it would be worth while putting a few new ones on the bonnet or am i breaking landy rules?:doh:

its not as if no water comes out it just doesnt reach the bloody windscreen! and your right about the salt from the roads ive just got back from an hours trip and it was hazardous to say the least .ive got the ash tray out from[top of dash] and was thinking of cutting a spanner down to sort of...

what size is the nut that holds the jet wash in? i can sort offeel the nut but your right about it being awkward might try a ferret in there to loosen the bloody thing thats if a ferret can get to it!:mad:

hello to you all im a newbie on the site and have just bought my 1st defender 90 "kreg" the water jet for windscreen has very little power even tho the water seems to flow ok anything i can do to fix this problem? thankyou billy
