been putting a bit of sound proofing in the 90 and decided to take seats out and do all the front end .any way i took seat belts out and they rewinded back in and i cant for the love of me get them to come back out to a length where i could bolt them down any suggestions?

well lads i went shooting today in the landy and took her into some real deep grooves and very steep hills that were slippy to say the least was well impressed with the ease it got through it all ,iwouldnt have tried it in my disco:D

dont know what the grease is i used but it comes as a freebie from son in law whos job it is to lubricate cables shafts etc on industrial cranes [shipyards etc] been using same stuff for ten years plus on various motors ive had and on mot tests always get great comments on underside of motors...

put wire brush to mine and scraped what i could off then using a compressor i blew excess off and then covered whole lot with liquid bitumem stippling it with brush then a few days later a covering with grease looks good but wiill have to wait and see how long it lasts

had battery checked and fine but after the guy done a drop check he also checked alternator and said its not charging battery soaftertaking theright bits off i got to the offending part and just when things were going ok the bolt at the backof it has seized tight and ive managed to round the...

a good set of early door cards is like rocky horse **** as imfinding out and if you do find some expect to pay canny money

no my charge light goes out thats why i dont think its alternator on another note i went to local auto shop for new earth leads and enquired about abattery he lookedthru his catologue and said he could get one i asked about amps and it was 70 amps i told him theres another one that does 90 plus...

i didnt leave his battery on the car ratty as he needed it straight back so put mine on a boost and it was fine but only for a limited period .i will put mine back on tomorrow with a full charge and go through all connections once more ie-earths starter alternator then if that fails its gonna...

could i rule out solenoid if whenput on mates battery it fires up 1st time worked fine all day and now just clicking again i changed earth cables today and its now on thekitchen bench on charge i know it will start 1st time tomorrow on a fully charged battery but i think my battery isnt...

deefender 90 has caught a cold i think as the battery doesnt seem to be turning starter over bumped it this morning and fired over in a second but when i left it for a few hours it just gave that continious clicking sound .Theres lights on dash as tho ive got plenty of life but just not...

went out today in the 90 and i think the hand brake seems to be sticking as the lever feels a bit spongy[springy] and theres a definite feel of wheels sticking any tips on a remedy would help .Is it easy?or is nowt easy with these things :blabla:
