hi i have a p38 97 2,5 dse auto .wen i accelerate hard for it to change down a gear .it holds bac at 3,5 thousand revs . it only does this wen warm any ideas plz

i have one 2,5 dse i tow caravans for a living and mine pulls ok .

repaced me rear eas height sensor ,and repaced me wheels ...............

well today we cut a hole out of the floor of me p38 under the bac seat . and changed the fuel sender unit and pump . instead of dropping that very large tank .. a another job well done ..cheers spencer

thatas cruise control next to the up and down one . that button if u press it in it will keep your eas set at the height that is lite at it locks it at that so it donst go up or down

mate its a p38 the eas suspension on mine has been playing up for weeks but cant find out y yet all i can say is they have a mind of thier own .. like women lol tempremental hah..

we had a p38 once like that u need to put on a laptop and check the height settings thats all we did with ours and we reset them because they was out then it was fine but u need to do this on a level surface ... first ..

I might have a go at changing my sender unit in my fuel tank or i might not ,,,,,,,,,,,,

yeah will do mate .i ve had a problem with it not reading right and sucking in air around the quater of a tank mark , so iam replacing the whole sender unit and pump .hopfully it will cure that problem we hope ..thanks again for ur advice ..cheers

if got a hiss from the bac its a very good chance u have a leaking air bag . if the car has gone down this is why ,if its down on the bump stops i wanted drive .could do more damage then thier is all ready mate ..
