Try an independent, if your key is chipped it will be around £120 and then your remote fob and testbook to programme. Works out about £170 inc vat. Not cheap at all!!

Just been to an independent LR garage and as I don't believe my FL has been serviced correctly in its 6 years (other than as a normal car). I asked for a full major service to be carried out. This includes all fluids dropped and flushed, all filters including fuel, brakes stripped and cleaned...

I'd buy the clutch and like said above get it replaced if you plan on keeping the vehicle, you know it'll bite you on the arse if its left. If there's any apparent damage then claim your cost back.

Ha ha. Or you could just stick gaffer tape on doors etc. After realising how poo it looks at least it'll come off easy enough.

Was it burning blue smoke prior to this when running. As said the turbo seals have probably given in. Happened to me in an astra once not good.

Had rear drums cleaned up as there was a whining noise coming from offside rear wheel. Found it to be a loose cable rubbing on drum. Sorted now and handbrake adjusted.

Had same with my 2006 td4. Key has a chip in and remote needs programming. LR want £250 ish for both and the programming. Cheapest I can find is £180 all in at simmonites in Bradford.

What is damaged exactly. Just looks like bike slid under front cracking some plastic. Are you sure radiator is damaged? I think you should get a quote to fix it up. There must be loads of parts floating round scrap yards etc. If you sell it then someone is going to be laughing all the way.

That wont cost much to fix. Get it done. Re MOT it and then find a company to insure it. Theres loads of cat C cars for sale on auto trader.
