If you need a ground anchor then you're planning on getting stuck, which is something you really shouldn't be doing on a green lane. If the lane is that wet then you should consider not driving it. There's a lot of ammunition being gathered by the antis right now - check out the Greenlaning...

Join GLASS - that will give you access to TrailWise. Memory Map, Trailwise etc will allow you to purchase electronic OS maps but just because there is a byway marked, it doesn't mean that you can drive it. Trailwise is the next best thing to the "Definative Map" - which your local Rights of Way...
