Anybody have any thoughts on the best tyres to replace the standard Michelin 7.50x16 XCLs on my 109FFR? I need something which performs slightly better on greasy roads, but which is also capable of decent performance on occasional heavy off road jaunts.

My wipers just packed up at exactly the moment you would least want them to. Bristol Ring Road, lots of traffic, heavy squal. They went slower and slower and then just stopped. Is this likely to require a new motor or is there some other potential cause that I could troubleshoot?

The brake light switch has failed on my 109 FFR. I know it's the switch at fault, because if you unplug the wires and touch them togehter the brake lights still come on. Finally got it sorted out - transpired that it was the coil at fault. Had a new one fitted and now Gloria runs beautifully!

No sniggering at the back. My canvass seems to have shrunk around the, erm, rear flap. Is there a simple (pain free) remedy?
