Wheel bearings and UJs have been ruled out (see my list). Is there a damper on the V8? Can't find it in Rave, unless it's part of the crank pulley?

Yep, all four tyres (General ATs) brand new and balanced. And vibration was same before and after tyres were fitted. Wheels are original 18" Hurricanes with original nuts.

Does the V8 have a crank damper? Can only find a reference to a crank damper in Rave for the diesel...

Agree with the others about the prop - all you need to replace are the UJs, rather than the whole thing. You will also need new propshaft nuts, and possibly bolts too. And do check the VCU, or you may be replacing the UJs again soon... Play in the diff may indicate that the diff bearing has...

Yep. Price now at Black Circles is £632.26 fitted and at myTyres is £591.60, again fully fitted. UHPs are cheaper than ATs, but some people reckon they're not as good.

I will. It's Island 4x4. The first compressor I bought from them in June last year failed in February - don't know why, just sent it back and got a replacement. The replacement has now failed. Both have been new Dunlop compressors.
