My solar lighting in the shed has failed. Nothing works. :( I thought I would take a look at the battery, are those cells on the 12V 110AH battery all meant to be dry? - NO! That might be why then. It has been there since 2018 and never been maintained. Mea-Culpa. Topped all the cells up...

I got bored doing nothing today so I spent a couple of hours working on my trike. I took the brake levers off and swapped them to e-Bike brake levers with "shut-off" switches. I mounted the e-bike display head and on/off +/- control parts. Just got to make a battery rack for the 2 batteries...

The drain plug is on the Auto-box? Have you got one of those oil-pumps they use for oil changes, would that work to suck all the ATF out?

The MOT was bailed on because of a serious steering linkage issue. A repair is ongoing (awaiting new "2nd-hand" inner column), this one is sp(l)ineless. ;) Concern was expressed that there might be a fuel leak, but I cannot find one. I suspect that "spray lube" that was applied to the carb...

OK, just to update this thread, there was no MOT on Weds because the initial precursory look at it from a pit and the ability to turn the steering wheel 10-15° in either direction (with no actual roadwheel movement) and then a loud "Clunk" followed by roadwheel movement suggested the splined...

It is a truly tempting offer, but I think I will stick with the wire-bristle bottle-brush for klingon-removal. @Mackers might be game though?
