I have a ex military 110 1985 land rover and see you can upgrade the brake servo to the td5 i think.
Is this possible on my land rover?
If not is there an upgrade?

Are your brakes poor/non functional or do you think they just could be better ?

Are you sure your servo is not right? Where have you found your info on upgrades?
There was more than one type fitted in the 80's. A talk with John Craddocks parts could be useful.

That's because it's for a 200, 300 or td5 to upgrade it to take the later type abs servo and improve braking on those. You could fit a new servo of the type already fitted and it'll help but there are a lot of other things you could do that would improve your brakes

To fit the later servo I think you need to fit the complete pedal Assembly. I did this on my ‘89 but only to remove the bias valve as fitted the later mode master as well. It made no difference to the brake performance though and I would not consider it an upgrade. It just meant I could fit rear discs without needing to change anything else.
