2014 Range Rover sport dynamic HSE

I need to fold the rear seats completely flat to make space. According to he manual I can pull the seat base forward which will allow the seat back to fold flat, but I can’t see how to do this - suggestions please.

Alternatively, I’d look to remove the seats base (as I’ve done on the freelander 2) but can’t see how I access the fittings to remove them - also not sure what that will do to he management system for airbags, seat heating and all he other bells and whistles on the rear seats…

(note, the seat back needs to be flat or as good as, not on an incline)

That's a similar job to do when replacing the rear shocks if I remember correctly ..
There is a couple of videos on YouTube that may clear that up for you.
That's a good point about any airbag warnings

Thanks, looked at lots of vids, but they seem to have different settings to mine. Most seem to have a tag you access through the base of the seat where the seatbelt is, I have v small hands and can't get in that

gap, so not sure about that. Others suggest leavers under the seat, but I can't see or feel anything, though I can see the white 'fitting' where the seat apparently attaches (there's supposed to be a leaver next to it to release, but ther is no leaver)

The electric ones are adjusted like your front seats

Ah, no. They don’t look like they can be adjusted at all - at least, I’ve not seen anything that would suggest they can be. I ‘think’ they are heated though, but not tested that thought (or what makes me think that!!!)

Thanks all - sorted it!
Went to local indi Land Rover repair place and it had him stumped so he did quick search on topix.

Will post a separate thread with photos on how to remove. There are catches but they were hidden in the seat base foam. Once located, clicked and seats release. Unplugged the connecting wires and pushed the back release leaver a few times and now have completely flat folded seats and boot space
