Hello,

A stupid question, I have replaced VCU bearings and now notice a slight vibration I don't remember I had earlier. Should the arc shaped washers (see attachment) be placed in specific positions?
I only marked the prop shaft and position related to IRD and diff...

Hi Chris.
The Arch shape washers can go into any place but always nice to put back where they came from.

Check the rear universal joints at the rear drive shaft area to see if they are ok

Thanks!

They are a bit annoying to fit so I don't think it is not worth removing the washers ATM.
The U-joints are all new, will drive a few miles and then check everything again.

Hi,

Check also the front diff mount, which is known to fail. Sometimes fixing a part will put a lot of stress on a failling part.

For bolts they should always be put at same place, there is a lot of force on them, and with time they are bent.
