Thanks Keith, just wondered if anyone had preferences, the last time I did them I just used the ones as per the book, TBH they have been in there for 5 odd years

I always fit NGK plugs and I've never had an issue. I'd recommend not to buy Champion plugs as their quality is terrible in my experience.
I think champion used to be questionable.. not so sure now.
Also, from my experience, the old rv8 will run fine on any bit of wire shoved down the plug hole!! Do long as it actually sparks.
Like i said the main thing is not to use triple or quad earth electrodes so the spark isn't too shrouded

I bought a set of these from the 'bay. Item 115501640000. He does leads for all sorts of cars.
They seem very good to me. My one niggle is they're made for the distributor version of the engine, so some are a little over length when sent to the back of the engine for the coil packs. However, they are good quality, and cured my misfire.

I got a set from Island when I replaced mine 20 quid odd, brand Eurospares don't know if they still do them they were fine.

I had Magnecor ‘blue’ on the V8 when I bought it. It also came with 5 sets of plugs, two brand new so I think a number of plugs chops had been done! Although no misfires at the time, a couple of plugs ends felt loose to me. I then had a drama with a high revs misfire after the alternator pulley fired off and I guess the belt gave the distributer cap a nudge (as after changing lots of things including the magnecors for a set of Britpart leads, it was changing the cap & rotor for a new set that cured the issue).
Anyway, I spoke to Magnecor and I have a set of their ‘red’ 8.5mm competition leads on the way. The Britpart ones seem fine, but the magnecor blues just felt more robust and sturdy. It is a bit of an extreme application, so looking forward to them arriving.
