He is a she and I bought it from a garage :p Had a look and the water I put in to get me home has vanished, oil looks OK though. Will let you know what happens with it, hopefully get it looked at tomorrow.

Yeah, that's why I wasn't up for paying for the warranty! Well you guys have cheered me up if nothing else. If I go now and have a look to see the results of the drive home; no water = much wailing and gnashing of teeth water = rejoicing?

I've had it for about two months, I'll need to check how long I'm covered for. 'Cos of the age/model of it I said to the guy that if anything went wrong with it I would be camping on his doorstep until it was fixed, so he chucked in the warranty for free.

I'm concerned because the garage I bought it from made a great big faff about getting it pressure tested before I bought it. So presumably I'm going to get the 'it was fine when you bought it' response. They saw me coming I suspects. :doh:

I'm in Edinburgh. It's under some kind of warranty, I'll need to see what's covered. And I'm not upset now, the first glass of vino has been poured!
