I'm trying to find out what purpose 3 degree radius arms and cranked links have. I'm very aware of the items jobs but not sure what the different angle is for. I'm guessing its foe raised suspension but feel like there could be more denefits ... ? Any help on this would be great im in no rush...

Check the cable carefuly a small brake could cause a short. Sensor is dirty not uncommon in land rovers. Check the exciter ring might be missing a tooth or two

It seems to me that the power source isn't constant enough untill charge is applied to electric system. The power source your using could be for something small or have a relay in system. A common place to power DVD screens is the light circuit its simple to access and works well in most cases...
