i had this but i have gone back to the original Bosch maf and now all is good i ha vr done a lot and i mean a lot of reading and the Bosch is the one to have fitted

When I first had my second Freelander td4 auto there were a few problems and advised to change the maf sensor which I did now 13 years after suffering a few problems like smoke on start up and acceleration ,I had enough and was going to sort it...

Have you confirmed the battery is charging. Could be a bad earth, when it gives the fault test battery voltage plus to minus and also plus to earthed points, ie the engine. Should all be similar readings.
