previously & was letting water in. Ive no idea why they didnt weld it but decided to fill it with silicone. :mad: that was the

Yep, so you remove the oxidisation, but what is oxydised is the clear coat, or paint. You remove tiny amounts each time you do it but eventually it is possible to be killing it with kindness. If you don't have oxydisation, use simple wax type polish.

They look the same size(my theory is wheel stubs are all the same design/size for most years) unless you got HD with bigger shafts

My 15mm pipe bender doesn't do tight bends, only similar to the one in the picture that's why I thought 10mm pipe would be better,
My brake pipe bender does 10mm so pipe should be hidden under the radiator, I'll paint the exposed pipe to match...
