No probs this section a bit obscure for the less curious
Firstly you missed your introduction in the Introduce yourself as it’s polite to do rather than jumping straight into questions , , could mention you have a issue and you will put it in...
BTW - the Tdi will run fine without an intercooler, so long as you aren't juicing up the Tdi. But it would be better with one. Lots of options for an intercooler, although factory Tdi ones would likely be the most challenging to fit.
Throttle...
Sure you've bought a Fairly overdrive and not a centre pto. The centre pto has the operating lever coming out of the seat box. Never seen a Fairy overdrive linkage anywhere else other than exiting from the trans tunnel. Post a pic of the linkage...

My RHR indicator failed to work off the switch, despite having ground and feed.
Going through the wiring I found an unused towbar loom. Once disconnected - Voila'.
Don't ask me why.

Now the bloody hard bit begins getting things swapped about for conversion , just drained all oils in gearbox , transfer box and fairey , gonna top up with new oil today. Then wondering if I should fit...
Finally got it started, had a bit of trouble with getting fuel running with broken return pipe and stuck banjo bolt . Finally got fuel running to Injectors and it fired up first time. seems to sound good but still not sure.
