Have been working on the front end replacing wheel bearings etc. I've noticed some corrosion on the near side axle bracket that attached to the radius arm. The corrosion that I can see is on the outside of the radius arm and the bracket is a triangular sort of shape, the middle of the triangle...

The carpets came as standard in CSW, only got it a couple of months ago and yes they do seem to attract water from somewhere (everywhere!)

I had the exact same panic when i looked under my 300Tdi for the first time, I don't feel quite so stupid now. You can get the wading plugs on eBay for less than 3 quid.

Hopefully there'll be some opportunites in the current economic climate. Good idea to check with farms though, I'll give that a try. If there are any farmers out there, what would be a reasonable weekly rental rate for a couple of parking spaces in a barn or outbuilding with power?

I don't think I can be too fussy about the exact location, there doesn't seem to be much around at the right price. Urmston would be perfect though.

I'm one of those guys with big ideas for my Landy and nowhere to carry them out. So, I'm looking for a suitably sized under cover space with light and power to rent. If anybody knows of such a place in the west Manchester area please let me know. :confused:

My clutch doesn't squeak but it is stiff when letting it out, the pedal doesn't move smoothly and feels like it moves in stages. Is this likely to be the linkage to the master cylinder. Sorry for butting in on the thread
