This is a great read I have had the same fault for over a year now drives ok so was not bothered, trued the break switch, and trued to adjust the safety natural switch but still there, will keep this post and when I have the motivation will look in to it further once again great post

This is probably one of the most common faults I’ve been driving my TD4 for almost a year now with my hill descent light on and off for flashing on the dashboard drives perfectly fine tried already known fixes to no avail you could try doing some research on this site

I have the same HDC light on after outing it in to drive changed the break switch and still there diamagnetic tells me it’s the “A circlet fault but bony know where to start to sort it out . Did try to take out the natural safety switch and clean it but still no not so I am stuck with the fail ...

I did mine on a auto keep at it try a small amount of grease it’s worth it in the end good luck

Also tried cleaning up both sides of the contacts on the neutral safety switch with electrical contact Layla and also the servo in the top of the gear change but still didn’t make any difference so it is the a circuit whatever that is would love to know if someone has experienced the same

Mine has been on all the time when I put it in drive I’ve change the brake switch taken off cleaned and rebuilt the safety neutral switch readjusted it 20 times or more but still the same put a OB tester on it and it tells me I have a fault on the a circuit showing a fault number P0705 I think...

Where is the bleeper located please

Could you also assist me I have been working on the TD4 and could a filter at the back of the engine that is like a small fuel filter that is connected to a small rubber hose but it is not connected both ends . Do you know where is meant to go / to / from?

When I change the auto shift to ‘D’ the ‘N’ light come on at the shifter and I get F4 flashing and the HIll descent light comes on at the dashboard, if I then pull it back the shifter just slightly I get the ‘D’ on the dashboard but the hill descent light stays on but it won’t stay in D it goes...
