The other thing that you must remember is the Front wings on a 300Tdi are different than a TD5 and will need to be altered to make the lights fit. The indicator on a TD5 are larger and the edge of the wings are squarer unlike the 300Tdi which curve down more.

Firstly sounds as if you have alot of play in yout transmission shafts. Secondly, my disco indicators don't cancel either, your cancel prong has prob broken off the back of your steering wheel, or the indicator self cancel springs are f**ked. Quite common actually.
