Yes thats right but us with the older version it has 2 pumps one in the tank and then one in the engine bay behind the battery.

I have had a simular problem and I know that you won't want to hear this but it was both pumps gone. A very expensive problem to fix!!!

To all of you who think that I'm from Yorkshire No i'm not just living here at the moment and i didn't want to start another War of the Roses. As for the roads they were in the Falkland Islands so about as far from Yorkshire as possible. Now that has got you all thinking???? :eek:

oh no I have driven the defender on some of the worst roads in the world and my back was in bits but in a Freelander:)

I have 4 new Fuel pumps both in the engine bay and fuel tank, Prop shaft broke, needed new brakes and now my drivers window cable has gone apart from that I love my Freelander ( A good job after spending over 1k fixing all the problems above)

Be nice about Freelanders

Yes I can see what you mean, I don't get it the defender is uncomfortable the disco feels like your going to tip over when going around a bend. So I ask what is wrong with the Freelander. :confused:
