It's not on a timer. This happened after driving for about 20 minutes. I will look in the manual but I didn't even know I had a fbh until about an hour ago, thanks to Saint.V8, so I wouldn't have known what to look for in the manual. I assume that the vehicle shouldn't be driven? Steve

Done that. Phew. I am gonna get my mechanic on the case as I am sure it is out of my league. Just wondered what he needs to work through? I have tried to read up on the fbh but I don't really understand what would be causing it to smoke and therefore what we need to do.

You can see the smoke around the pipe, it had been a little smokier but was starting to ease here.
