The A/c on my disco is still working after 15 years fortunately, but I think it will benefit from a recharge. Thanks for the advice I'll book in @ Kwik fit.
Sean hit the nail on the head - you need to make sure it will physically fit. You are quite limited on the disco 1, there is not much space under the bonnet and I doubt if anything agricultural would fit.
I suppose if they can call it a vehicle modification they will charge you extra. - I don't think I would tell them if it was only a change of tyres! Not sure about the warranty though.
Hi Mike,
If the AT's are worn out then definitely get the tyres.
Otherwise keep the misses happy and let her choose some carpet for the landing and hall!
Too right.
Wouldn't be without mine specially in winter.
Is yours an import?
When I bought it in 2005 the insurance company insisted that I got an immobilser fitted as it didn't have one - what to do when that goes wrong though?! - Think it'll be time to walk away.
I have this problem on mine and rarely use the low ratio. Last time I used it lead to a few scary moments - it seemed to go back into high without a problem - that was until I pulled out on to the main road and lost drive!!
The last mm of travel on the transfer box lever makes all the difference.
