300tdi auto N reg onwards were edc engines, pre N reg they had normal throttle cables/injection pumps, EDC autos are slow beyond belief, though when chipped they will beat a std manual td5 hands down. Rover V8s are just crap, and if they are not...

Im looking for a disco 1 . I would prefer a diesel but would consider a v8. Must be auto and have a tidy interia. Im looking for something with a price that starts with a 2. Im in the south 👍

You can uprate the zf4hp22 with hp24 parts so you still have a hydraulic box that can take more power. If you are doing a project, look at my other bits. I was going to try and do a more modern manual v8 project but have decided to go back to 2...

I think if you pay someone else to fix your car then running an old lr will get very, very expensive. They only make sence, to me at least, If you will fix it yourself.

I forgot to add it comes with the transfer box. I can liberate it from the stack and get better pictures if needed. I live on the isle of wight but i can put it on a pallet and ship it. Send me your address if you want a price.
