Thought,
You do the pressure test and all is good. Have you changed the cap? It’s the only thing not in the equation when you pressure test it.
I understand that hot/cold can make leaks elsewhere but a new cap is not a lot of beer tokens :).

Also unplugged & tested blend & distrib motors using 9V battery & multimeter on the pots via the 16-pin connector. All seem to be working ok with smooth resistance change through the adjustment. But, when plugged back into the HEVAC, I get...
Replaced connector on heater core sensor. Old one was rather corroded where the copper wires were crimped. Now HEVAC says correct remp instead of -8deg !!
Bought her AA breakdown cover. In the vain hope I won't use it this year. 🤣🤣 The RAC called me a couple of days ago to ask me if I would be renewing this year. I wonder if he was surprised at the " hell no!" response 🤣 I decided to see which was...
Having wasted more time on the phone today, a friend from Luxembourg called in at the recovery truck place at Houffalize. Haad a lengthy chat with matey there who explained that the fan belt had lost about a third of its width at one point and...
Two things I thought I’d mention. Injectors are slightly different depending on MY. Think it changes with EGR so if you have that. Particularly 4th injector as connectors different and not ideal to butcher a new one.
Other thing is if you read...
I'd give it a good clean down and check it again after a few miles.
If there has been a leak for a while, the oil will be in every minute place and will slowly ooze with the engines heat. Hopefully you don't have to drop the sump👍
After more hours hanging on the phone to the UK breakdown people, we've all tried various LR garages in the area. Most have closed down for the summer holidays, they won't re-open for another 2 weeks! There's an offer to repatriate the car in...
Took the project car on out bi-weekly 35km each way shopping trip and got an EAS fault, pressure signal constantly high and the pump sounds to be working too hard :(
Beru gets my vote. I think they run them a bit over voltage but they're robust enough to take it. Makes quite a difference. Put mine in years ago and they're still like new - and that's running a hot-start fix that forces the glows on every time...
Disconnect each wire on the plugs and do a resistance check on each glowplug, they should be between 0.9 ohm and 1.2 ohm.
Any one or two plugs different, change them all for beru or bosch. 👍
Also cycle the key and check for voltage at one of the...
Overcoming 'fiddly' can be lucrative. My one-time indie worked out ways of accomplishing certain tasks that officially required the body lifting. He was not only inventive but had small hands .. true he went through a good few sticky plasters...
As above 2 belts 1 like an anocoda in length and route and then a small belt just for the fan. the water pump is driven from the long belt.
The small belt is as said abit of a strech to get on as has no tensioner.
The manual really doesnt give...
