My mate had a look this morning and he said it is 100% the 4x pipes have rubbed through. Nightmare. Oh well at least its identified the fault. Ill see if it was recalled by JLR if not ill see if they will fix it properly instead of a pipe clamp like they did for the other chap above. Thank you...

Morning all. The wifes TD5 started leaking diesel on Sun. Ive checked the pipe from the cap to the tank and its ok. There is fuel around the sub frame and tank area. Any common faults to look for please as she is worried? Thanks in advance.

Yes Goonarmy. The engine oil looks black as. Its also looking a bit low too. Speaking of which my mrs was driving behind me yesterday and she noticed some black smoke which we didnt see on the test drive. Hopefully nothing serious and hopefully a good oil change will cure??
