They are fitting a new block with all new bearings and rods etc I am still awaiting the full report as to what the actual failure was this will influence what my final decision will be cheers thank you

Further from the finance they have been in touch to confirm the engine is having a full rebuild and that they will protect me for a further 6 months if it fails within this timescale they will reopen the case and return the vehicle, and as a further good will gesture they have refunded 3 mths...

I am awaiting the full report as to what failed before I make a decision the engine is with an engine specialist not lr if I am not happy I still can refuse to accept it thank you for the extra info, when or if I get the report I will put it on the thread

Hi guys just had a phone call from the garage regarding my disc the engine has been removed and they are rebuilding a new engine should be back in two to three weeks over the moon

Still waiting the garage has not spoken and not taking my calls got to wait till Friday now
