Fuel pump lever should have some resistance to it, but not be spring loaded. As long as the cam shaft is in the right position it should return to centre but not feel spring loaded. Can help on your second question

Checked drain plug on the bottom of the fuel filter. Fuel runs freely. racked of the fuel injector pipe fuel coming out of each pipe. When I cracked off one of the pipes the revs climbed, made the mistake of cracking off the fuel filter bleed screw with engine running. now won't start...

I want to change my brakes callipers and Disks, mine are too far past it. had a quick look at Ebay and there are plenty for sale. Not too worried about solid vs vented, as I'm not sure the performance will warrent vented. Trying to avoid ****part, but do I buy guenuine Land Rover callipers...

ok, gets its worth holding off until I've replaced the door seal. if a door that doesn't fit the hole, must be a landy issue. Cheers for the advise. defcrazy. not 100% but the water stains on the paintwork seem to point to the door seal.. will double check the vent flaps this evening.
