I have for sale a x4 Bowler Alloys in anthracite. They are fitted with 265 Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tyres which are legal, but may only have a couple of thousand miles left in them. Wheels are in great condition and run nice and true. I am after £1000 for them and they are located in Solihull.

After many years out of a defender, the time has come where I can afford to have one as a spare car. I am after a 110 as I now have a child so must have seats in the back! I'm not fussy about colours or anything like that but it must have a solid chassis, bulkhead etc. A few cosmetic issues...

Ended up having it delivered via Shiply. For a 167 mile trip I was only charged £153 which I was more than impressed with!! It would of cost me more to hire a truck and do it myself! Thanks for the offer of help though!

Most of the guys on there offer a payment upon delivery, which would give me a bit of security. Its only a £500 donor car I want the engine from so not arsed if it gets damaged.

The last recovery guy I used only charged me £80 for a delivery from central London. Just so happened he had a delivery right near where I needed the collection so it was 100% profit for him. Was hoping to find something along those lines!

Really?! What a w*nker! Is there no cover with Shiply when things like this happen?

My last company would, but not this one for some unknown reason! Yeah a pound a mile seems the norm and its 165 miles each way. At that price its far cheaper for me to hire a transporter for £98 plus fuel.

I drive a company car so unable to fit a tow bar and my 90 is off the road. If nobody can do it for the right money I'll have to hire a transporter but dont really have the time.

This is a 200tdi engine removed from a Defender 130 with 124k on the clock. The car had service history and was well looked after. I brought the rotten 130 for the engine as I knew it was a good one. Excellent runner and pulls as a 200 should. Comes with turbo, alternator, fuel pump etc...
