Hi in reply its a 2013 freelander 2 perhaps could be more clear on b roads 40 mph ish warning stays off (car drives and pulls as normal) but as soon as you get on a dual carridgeway or put the engine under load ie up hill at about 2500 rpm...

Warning (ie exclamation mark in triangle) top right of display and big version in centre of display on dash with "restricted performance" message. Nothing else except press OK to clear possibility. Started today - country roads and up/down gentle...
