guys i have found a place to do the head great ,but then he we will send it off for xray (never herd of that) but it might have a fracture as well anyone heard of this happening as its going to cost £600.00 if he says its cracked its point less and needs a new engine.

had the head gasket tested yesterday they said its blown quoted £880.00 plus vat well shocked for re skimming and repair using original land rover parts . as i live in oldham anyone know were i can get it done cheaper many thanks gaz

i think so just had it running on the drive for half hour coming back from shops hose rock hard ,so just undid the cap on the header tank no air presure came out screwed it back let it run until the pipe went a bit hard undid the top screw on the hose and let water out it was bubbling pipe...
