hi I have a 1990 vogue se 3.9 with the zf 4 speed auto box ive just changed the engine does anyone know how to adjust the kickdown cable and how it should be set please
hi im hoping someone around Sheffield area can help me im in need of the 2 adaptor screws that fasten to the oil cooler sandwich plate which fits behind the oil filter which the oil cooler pipes fasten to on a 1990 3.9 v8 auto any help would be much appreciated thanks
I think its because the 3.9 system is a single pipe all the way through but the 3.5 was a single pipe to the middle box then it was a twin pipe so it burbles like a v8 should
hi all hoping you can help me mines a 1990 3.9 efi would the exhaust from a 3.5 fit as it sounds better and im wanting to get that lovely v8 burble any help or advice is much appreciated
ive been still trying to free off the transmission brake on my rangy and attempted to fit a diff guard before arguing with it and leaving it ill another day
hi all sorry ive not been on for a while not had much time to get on but I should be at the nxt meet if you don't mind me turning up in a mk3 Cortina as the range rovers off the road
it was a very good night was to meet all that was there thanks to mark for the advice on my classic and to Stacey for the drinks and to marks comment ha ha I wish I had plenty of money lol the reason im on gas cause I cant afford petrol lol
mines slightly older so I have to switch it over myself I only tend to start it on petrol first thing in a morning or when ive finished work I heard things said against gas but since buying my rangy id swear by it plus some cities if you go into the city centre a lot do a green parking scheme...
if you love the v8 burble I would recommend either buying one converted to gas or getting one converted kits can be picked up for around £300 and any competent mechanic can fit them a friend of mine has converted his cars himself with no trouble and it makes a v8 as cheap to run as a 1 litre on...
mine has been my daily and only roadworthy car from may 2011 to now its a 3.9 v8 on gas and running on gas has been no dearer to run than a 1.0 vw polo I used to have but now its consigned to winter duties now ive finally restored my Cortina for summer use
