    Many thanks to everyone for your help. Checked the battery connections, and found the earth lead to be loose. Clamped it up tighter and the problems seem to have gone away. Fingers crossed that after the next long run they don't come back again. Cheers Andy

    Thanks for that. I've had a new battery, and it always holds at full charge, so I assume the alternator is ok. To be on the safe side does anyone know what the output to the battery on my car should be with the engine running? I think I'll get the BCU checked as well. Cheers Andy

    Good Evening All I hope someone may be able to help, before I take my 2002, 3.0 TDi HSE, L322 Range Rover to the woods and set fire to it!!!! The problem I have is that different electrical things seem to stop and start working for no reason at all, apart from the problems seem to kick off...
