Cordless drill and good vice and punch. Drilled rubber out then punched sides in and they fel out. Grease and good vice and sockets and they fell in almost lol

I'd say don't do it I have my highlift on my bonnet and that's bloody heavy so a wheel will be just mental

Cut em out and coat of thick hammerite and drill couple of holes for drainage

The hole is for a wading plug to be screwed in to stop water entering the cambelt casing.same hole will be on gearbox bell housing

Mine is into snorkel for over twelve months with regular off-roading and submersion often. Oils changed recently and there was no signs of moisture in there so in my opinion it seams fine to be in snorkel.

Hi guys fitting later 200tdi four bolt 24 spline diff and prop to my. 300tdi. Been lifted 2 inches, will I need a spacer between diff flange and prop or am I ok as standard as seen the spacers easily available. Thank you.

Best way to check dripping injectors is to remove them but leave connected to all pipework over cardboard which I know is awkward and see what happens. This is 100% injector issue IMO because it starts on 3 not 4

I think you have a dripping injector overnight. Hense loads of smoke on startup. Hence low fuel pressure as it's draining pipes, hence runs on 3 till reved, also will cause low compression on that cylinder as will wash away oil on piston rings. Does engine oil look thin and smell of diesel

Hi guys and galls. Looks like I've damaged my rear diff offroad at the weekend as it briefly locked up then banged when released and now grinds badly on overrun. Question I have is this. I have 300 tdi manual 1998 year and friend is breaking v8 auto 1996 model, will the diffs be a straight swop...

Hi thanks for reply . I was looking at 265 75 16 again and if fedima are only a quid more I will have those as heard good things of a few searches but thought they were much more in cost.
