I thought the "Clear All" button was just the clear the values preveiosly read ?? The "Unlock EAS" is for clearing faults.

The P38 EAS is not OBDII compliant, so that scanner is unlikely to work. Put your town name in your forum profile - there might be peeps nearby with proper P38 diagnostics & experience fixing it.

Can't remember how many either, but yes I will probably need 20. Let us know how your guinea pig does !! LR Cat shows either 11 or 14 clips for lower trim depending on VIN.

Keith, Yes will def go for high temp one. I'm gonna try putting it on the power feed close to the pack first & see if that helps. Might even do the old thing of putting a 100nF ceramic in parallel with the electrolytic. I have another pack...

You probably need to do a decent production run. There are many on here that would buy some, me included. . . . . how much for a pack of 10 ?

No potholes. It randomly does it when stationary as well. On Thurs it was fine to Milton Keynes & back. On Saturday drive up to Eldesborough was ok, but then it did it about 6-7 times on the evening return ? Next job is to replace the...

What that actually means is that the EDC/ECU will not be sent a mobilisation code to re-mobilise it.

Definitely will give it a try, probably across the power wires close to the pack. Still have not managed to fully de-pot one of my spare driver packs & get the PCB out.

aah yes that makes sense. The version with TSB's is useful as well but is also Windoze only. I have shortcuts to all three on my Win10 laptop. Can't find my Microcat copy, but I'm sure it will surface one day.

Yes it does. During the drive I had Nanocom connected so I could see the sensor readings which were all about right. Also did a recording which I'm gonna check later. Sensor(s) out of range should show as a fault. But as there's no...

I agree on that. The reason I had to tilt the engine was to replace the rusted core plug in the cylinder head just above the thermostat housing. Effing nightmare. Pump & stat replaced just in case while I was in there.

Never used mine on either of our family FL1's, besides it will get in the way doing the water pump. Easier to use a trolley jack & wood block underneath. I did one recently & also unbolted the NS engine mount. Got an extra 1/2" space to get...
