The nearside passenger carpet is saturated. Its dry at the front and at the tunnel side, it is soaking from the door to where your feet go. I called at my local land rover repair centre and they reckon the sunroof or roof bars are the likely cause. The roof lining is dry though and all looks...

My 2000 disco 2 is not leaking oil. Water yes but not oil !! :):)

Ta i have been having a look it is a fiddly job but at least I dont need to take the turbo off as suggested by the Haynes, that makes it a little easier:)

I am getting a puddle,and it seems to be coming from behind the water pump. Also there is a grating noise coming from same area, air con/water pump. Is the pump serviceable ? or is it a new one required ?. Cheers

Yeah thats the plan first try the wd 40, grinding and cutting/heat etc is always my last choice,lots of bloody knuckles and swearing eventually wins the day !!(usually !!)

type TOPIx in google and you can search for the radio manual. I dont think there is a mute button , mine is a 2000.

I have recently bought one just the same. I have had a good poke round underneath and it does seem to just be surface rust, it does look awful though,so i am going to treat it hopefully. I reckon the worst part will be trying to undo nuts etc it might mean grinding them off when the time comes...

Hi guys just a quickie, is there anywhere you know of i can download a copy of the audio instruction manual, or just how to put the code in would be useful. I havent disconnected the battery yet but i will at some point. ;);)

Jacked it up, got under and had a good poke and shake at all the steering. Cant find anything loose , there is some fluid hanging about so i have cleaned it all. I will have another look and see if the fluid is coming from power steering pump/pipes or steering box drop arm seal.
