the header tank was full to the top with oil and cooler looked really bad so wel see Wat pressure test bring in some way s i hope it oil cooler not head mind still 350 quid arnt they cant see a lot of change out of a grand coming

update on td5 head off for pressure test along with oil cooler as they not sure which is to blame cooler looks like suspect to me though any one elss had prob with them

hi had the same prob with an old p38 after changing clutch only way we could cure it was by making a new push rod an inch longer than standard i no this not good way but had spent a week and to mechanics trying to bleed it never got to bottom of it but drove for a year like it until sold

get the air bags off, i spent loads on mine never could get it to work properly put coil kit on cheap easy to fit no more probs and rides no difrent at all. but if you want some air springs i have a good pair only on truck a month before compressor went let you have them £60.00 the pair

dont want to worie you but mine did that turned out to be head gasget onw been done twice in three months and back in again with suspect head craking

the oil in header tank is of the black gold variety I'm afraid. just going to the filter being hot is this the norm cos when i changed it a month or so ago the one i took off was really hot and the wires at the bottom had broken,i thought they were just for water in filter sensor

hi all just an up date looked at water leavel and found header tank to be full of oil great back off to garage to have head off again only done in december im hoping it just head nakered and not block why would any one buy a land rover cant belive the agro and money this thing is costing me

cheers guys will try glow plugs head was only done few months ago although im not convinced it right as heater still crap and takes an age to warm up a little

hi guys when i start my td5 in morn get lot of white smoke and runs like bag of nails for few seconds then picks up. worse on cold days have done head gasget and replaced injector harnes. any ideas cheers all
