The fact that I cant find a new flexplate for the p38 diesel only the v8, is really the only reason whybi was asking if someone new but I'll just have to find out for myself

Where from iv been looking hence why I asked the question

I know where it bolts to and all, and well if you look at a td5 flexplate and p38 flexplate you tell me the difference as far as I can see there isn't any they are both triangle in shape like have said and the both have the same amount of bolt holes I dont know if they are in the exact same...

I know tho the gearboxs are the same I can under stand the torque converter may be different and the bell housing pattern but why would they make different flexplates when they are both triangular in shape with the same amount of bolt holes

Right need a simple answer yes or no and the reason why!! can I fit the td5 flexplate on to a p38 diesel as they are the same box??

I have got One on way but not from Ashcroft as my mates have had issues with stuff from there before

So after all the noises it made I ended up taking the transfer box off to find a rather slack chain and the shaft off centre photos added
