disco td5 its on the cv it does not have a magnetic bearing

if it ant broke then leave it alone

source a good second hand hub it will save you time in the end.if all are sheared beats trying to drilling them all out .

take off the pipe from the air box to turbo and see if you can turn the turbine by hand it should turn very freely with no drag also check to see that dose not move up or down if it has any movement then its useless

better checking that your turbo is ok first before you start changing fuel pumps.white smoke from rear and not revving sounds to me as if your turbo is f###ed. i have sorted a few with the same problems and the turbo was seized.

i run insa special track on my disco never had any problems with them wet or dry

check the fuel filter and filter head it is in the rear off side wheel arch. the filter usually gets damp and corrodes and the filter head corrodes and goes porous then the pump starts squealing as it try's to purge the air out of the system.

you get replacement diffpans to buy.you are better taken out the diff before cutting and welding in the new one easy job to do especially for a fabricator

i no what you mean if the nsf top suspension arm mount was able to unbolt it and get it out of the way it would make access to the turbo a lot easier. exhaust off and front prop off and a few heat shields off now i can see it at least the oil pipes look easy to get at if the torxs screws slacken...

its goes in on a slight angle.push the pipe in and run the nut thrue your fingers,turning it slow but firm and give the pipe a gentle shake remember the direction of rotation is clockwise good luck
