just took my new disco for mot , needs discs and pads on front. ive got the replacements and hub spanner , any advice on procedure ? does the hub and disc seperate easily ? are the bearings affected ? and can i move caliper without undoing pipes and bleeding ? thanks guys disco 1 1995 non vented

yes i was thinkin the same i dont think it should need much doin for mot but i think ill have a closer inspection tomorrow and a test drive .

seems good no major rot , windscreen cracked needs tidying , havent drove it yet tho

yes symptons are exactly same as before only not burning oil now . HG replacement may of stopped this , as prevoius overheating may of caused HG failure

ok ive tried this and there is no sign of any vapour , runs ok with no cap on exp tank. as soon as u screw down cap , the pressure builds and within seconds its steamin . no signs of any sort of leakage anywer round head gasket. may be of interest , wen warm even tho thres prob less 8 litres...
