hi, as far as i am aware it uses the horn as a sounder, same as my freelander , not that i use it , i have had a Cat1 installed. Hope this helps till someone tells you other wise.... Michael

i used faracla compound on my bm, thats red and had loads on the bonnet too , applied to my buffer , came out works really well. Hope this helps Mick

Urban myth mate............ i not a clue how this myth started? the dealers will know the code if you call them with all your details and the vin number. may cost a few quid but better than wrecking a half decent radio. Mick
