Noticed the other dark morning that my o/s rear light, sidelight and dial dash lights were not working. The dash light showing that the lights were on was not working either. The blue light indicating main beam on was fine as were indicator/hazard.. Headlights/main working ok. I'm thinking...

Hello... The doors of my T reg hardtop do close (kind of) however if I pull the handle towards me, without pressing the button, the doors open about half an inch then catch and do not open further. Both driver and passenger door bottom hinge pins seem loose and have play in all directions...

My T-reg Defender failed Mot miserably on corrosion in the chassis and needs shedload of welding :( I don't understand why as the last test didn't mention anything about corrosion. Anyway...a new chassis is out of the question at the moment (££££) so could anyone recommend a decent welder in...

I've just been told by the mechanic (not a LR specialist...usually does vans and trucks) there is some play in the hubs and that a LR savvy friend of his had...

After having to get a new alternator and power steering pump it seems I now need 2 front wheel hubs. £200 or so each genuine LR. Simple question I have is, are Bearmach ones at £70 a pop 'good enough'? (my car doesn't venture off road much if that's relevant at all) Hope someone can advise as...

Hello all. I've not long bought my T-reg110. There was severe shudder at about 45mph which a wheel balance sorted out, but still have some vibration in the steering wheel (a couple of centimetres 'left-right' movement of the wheel if that makes any sense) at about 60mph....slowing to 55mph makes...

No pc and 3G poor in the hills. Hard to say where oil came from as no more appeared. Maybe all that was going to come out, came out... There was no clutch slip at all. The only symptom was the sound. Upshot was abandonment of car at mate's house who in turn has a mechanically literate friend...

Thanks...to elaborate slightly. Black oil I think ( it was evening) , nothing untoward visible in engine bay ( belt was properly located) or underneath...just the ' groaning' sound. Its a manual box
