Hi all, the rear wiper on my 1989 110 has long been shot so I'm replacing it with one from a discovery1. So far I've got the discovery one working fine when wired but not fitted, but as soon as it touches the metal of the door it blows its fuse! Should the wiper motor be insulated from the door...

If I remember correctly the P section on mine (original I believe) faces the other way? With the rolled top facing out and rubber pushed into it? I'll check and see if I've a picture.
