That's a similar job to do when replacing the rear shocks if I remember correctly 🤔.. There is a couple of videos on YouTube that may clear that up for you. 🤔 That's a good point about any airbag warnings😵

Ok, today started well enough, getting everything out of the car for the caroet and soind deadening. Turned less good when I failed to remove the front prop shaft, no big deal so. The real downer was the indicator light so. Those don't work any...

Snap on is OBD2 your P38 isn’t. Few might clear the fault but it won’t tell you how to stop it coming back on. You need a nanocom with the correct unlock code, test book t4 or a faultmate. If it’s stuffed a Hawkeye might do at a push, maybe?

No need to remove the dash. A long screwdriver and one duct to cut, easy peesy. as long as the screw is not corroded in. Use a S/S socket head screw when putting it back and a smear of silicone grease on the O rings.

I'm going through this at the moment, random traction abs lamps but 0 faults... Beginning to think I've got corrosion on a plug somewhere as it just randomly comes and goes and under no particular circumstances 😵

So, just to close this thread with a defenitive update: She will get new 4-2 exhaust manifolds (the old ones are gone), a Weber / Edelbrock carb, full heat shielding and sound deadening, all of that this year. Maybe even a roof top tent...
