Disco 2 td5, intermittent check engine light

will check everything and report back. had put in one of the supposedly better Pace 4x4 looms so i hope it not the problem

Disco 2 td5, intermittent check engine light

yes, that might be the most obvious but if im honest i have seen that error for as i had my nanocom years agoand only very recently i have started seeing this behaviour.

Disco 2 td5, intermittent check engine light

so in my discovery td5 i sometimes get an engine light with some misfiring. it happens every few days and till now it has always resolved itself just by switching it off and on. ECU errors: Crank speed logged high The only other thing that i noticed is that it is smoking a little bit more...

Disco 2 Airbag helpers with decent articulation?

not sure if you re able to help but i m trying to fit mine and the aluminium block provided does not fit in the sporing insulator . i think i should probably mill a few mms from the block but dont want to go crazy with it before verifying!

Disco 2 Airbag helpers with decent articulation?

I would like to fit airbag helpers inside the springs of my D2. Originally converted my D2 to springs because of the idiotic location of the ride height sensors which i constantly destroyed while offroading. also the springs allow for better articulation as they have the ability to dislocate...

    Disco 2 ac not cooling

yes, you re absolutely correct, i didnt notice the T at the fuel cooler (or heater!). coolant coming from the heater matrix does not actually go in the fuel thing
  7. mad85

    Disco 2 ac not cooling

I think that would stop the flow to the fuel cooler though?

    Disco 2 ac not cooling

as i have "fixed" the issue by isolating the heater matrix im quite sure "something" is not right under the dashboard. i know from the self-diagnostics that the servos are working fine and i also know this because it does change the temperature when i set the temperature up. i suspect that the...

    Disco 2 ac not cooling

i would need some guidance on what i can check however @sierrafery said that there is no way i can access motors or the flaps without total dash removal :(

    Disco 2 ac not cooling

im thinking about adding valves to open / close during summer/winter to avoid having to remove the dashboad. adding valves to the existing factory setup is very hard but i was thinking about using the blanked off hoses originally used for the egr cooler. Any reason why that wont work? I see that...

    Disco 2 ac not cooling

dont really understand how it works but i guess i did lol

    Disco 2 ac not cooling

Did a little experiment, bypassed the heater matrix and now i have cool air coming from both sides. Still think ita not great but there is definitely a problem under the dash. Question is: is it easy to fix whatever is wrong or is it better to get a working ac unit and replace the while thing...

    Disco 2 ac not cooling

i guess it needs to be a U-shaped piece of pipe? since id rather not remove those old hoses, is it very hard to access the flap? do i need to remove the entire dashboard?

    Disco 2 ac not cooling

looking at this diagram again, blocking one side of the coolant will block coolant flow to other parts so its not a great idea i think
