yes, you re absolutely correct, i didnt notice the T at the fuel cooler (or heater!). coolant coming from the heater matrix does not actually go in the fuel thing

I think that would stop the flow to the fuel cooler though?

as i have "fixed" the issue by isolating the heater matrix im quite sure "something" is not right under the dashboard. i know from the self-diagnostics that the servos are working fine and i also know this because it does change the temperature...

i would need some guidance on what i can check however @sierrafery said that there is no way i can access motors or the flaps without total dash removal :(

looking at this diagram again, blocking one side of the coolant will block coolant flow to other parts so its not a great idea i think

thanks for the info. the idea behind blocking the coolant is to proof the theory and so that I can have a/c without too much work for the summer months as the the next available slot is in november

are you aware of where this flap which opens and closes hot air is? i mean if i dont need to take the whole dashboard apart id rather check/replace it than mess with old coolant pipes :D
